Description
Fermentable epoxy putty for minor repairs. It hardens even under water. He becomes as tough as steel. It can be subjected to mechanical processing, grinding, painting, etc.
Instructions
Using a pair of scissors, cutting off the same size amount from A and B. Knead the two components together, for at least 2 minutes, so as to obtain a homogeneously gray-colored material without marming. Apply this mixture to the part to be fixed or repaired. Epofix can be applied even under water, where it will continue to harden after application.
Cover the remaining material with foil to preserve it well.
To facilitate the fermentation process in cold weather, the two components (A + B) should be warmed up in advance, placing them in sunlight or near a heat source.
When the application is completed, it is recommended to wash hands. In case of sensitive skin or where Epofix mastic is often used, it is recommended to use a protective cream or gloves.
To create seals or close holes, it is important to ensure that Epofix penetrates correctly, exerting sufficient force. Good results are achieved using a spatula, which can also be used for the final smoothing.
When applied at an ambient temperature of 20°C, the final hardening is achieved in 2 hours. After the material has fully matured, it can be sanded, sawn and rubbed without problem. Epofix achieves all its final characteristics in 48 hours.
