Sikaflex® – 291i is a thixotropic one-component polyurethane sealant, specifically developed for maritime applications. It cures with atmospheric moisture, forming a durable elastomer. Sikaflex® – 291i also meets the International Maritime Organization (IMO) fire resistance standards.

Application Fields
Sikaflex® – 291i is a versatile product for maritime applications, ideal for forming elastic vibration-resistant joints. It also excels in various sealing applications for both interior and exterior uses. Sikaflex® – 291i adheres strongly to common marine construction materials such as wood, metals, metal primers, two-component paints, ceramics, and plastics (GRP, etc.). It should not be used for sealing plastics susceptible to cracking under environmental stress (e.g., Plexiglas, polycarbonate, etc.).
